Permanent Financial Controller

Pinpoint Resourcing are currently working with a growing Manufacturing and Retail business to source a permanent Financial Controller to work alongside the MD to set up a robust finance function.

Duties:

• Complete monthly management accounts in accordance with an agreed timetable.
• Provide reliable, accurate financial information to key internal and external stakeholders.
• Business planning, budgeting & forecasting.
• Prepare and own the monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee the maintenance of the fixed asset register.
• Daily cash controls and weekly cash management, reconciliation and forecasting.
• Review of current financial systems, processes and controls and implement efficiencies.
• Oversee preparation and submission of VAT, PAYE/NICetc.
• Oversee the preparation of the year end statutory accounts.
• Liaison with auditors and tax advisors.

Requirements:

• Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent
• 2-3 years experience working in a similar position
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Sumifs, etc)

Salary + other information:

• £60,000 to £70,000 DOE
• Based in Islington
• Hybrid working arrangement
