Based: Manchester centre

Salary: up to £70k dependent on experience + enhanced pension + benefits

This role will be involved with continuously improving new processes/procedures, shaping the growing finance team and leading all finance activities including month end & cash flow duties

Role:

• Monthly management accounts production and review
• Overseeing finance team, training & development of studiers
• Balance sheet reconciliations, producing budgets & forecasts
• Responsibility for P&L, cash flow, variance analysis 
• Assisting wider finance team and SLT with ad-hoc projects
• KPI preparation, Assisting with the development of internal controls & procedures
• Supporting and driving continuous improvement on processes to contribute to improved efficiencies
• Providing information, guidance and insights to wider business through accurate analysis and financial reporting
• Dealing with stakeholders both finance & non-finance, delivering at board meetings
• Developing relationships with external stakeholders – auditors, banks and more

Experience:

• Commercially minded ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Finance Manager/Financial Controller
• Strong understanding of month end process, management accounts production & cashflow
• Driven to improve business processes
• Experience working within an SME environment
• Experience on Excel & accounting systems
