Role Details - Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join an excellent, fast-growing SME in the heart of Warwickshire. You will have full ownership over the finance team and have significant growth opportunity and increased responsibility within the business as the team grows.

Role responsibilities of Financial Controller

  • Develop financial management strategies to manage and reduce risk
  • Work closely with company directors to maximise profits and make key strategic decisions
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations
  • Report on the current and future finances of the company as well as factors influencing company performance
  • Manage accounting processes
  • Review cost-reduction strategies
  • Work with the company directors on developing long term strategic business plans
  • Work and create relationships with auditors, bankers and other statutory organisations

Skills required of the Financial Controller

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW) with 4-5 years PQE
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Ability to work effectively on your own and with a team
  • Great communication skills
