Financial Controller

Robert Half is partnering with a leading multi-entity company based in Lytham in its search for a financial controller. The company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated financial controller to oversee the group accounts. Reporting to Finance Director, you will have responsibility for all accounting records produced within the group and associated companies.

The financial controller will ensure quality control of financial transactions and financial reporting whilst also developing processes to improve internal controls. Along with day-to-day responsibility for cash flow management, accounts payable and credit control, you will oversee the following;

• Responsible to produce consolidated accounts for the group
• Leading and managing the cashflow forecasting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Managing aged debts and aged creditors effectively
• Day to day supervision and management of the accounts payable team
• Producing year end statutory accounts and tax packs
• Manage any costing analysis on projects
• VAT submissions

You will have the following experience;

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
• Experience using SAGE and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary paying up to £65,000 + 10% bonus | 5 days on site | Free Parking | 40 hours per week
