The Financial Controller is a pivotal role within the finance team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial accounting and reporting. This role involves leading a team and driving the controls and governance agenda to achieve financial targets.

Duties will include:

• Managing the accounting function and day-to-day financial activities.
• Leading and developing a team of four direct reports.
• Driving the Governance & Control agenda.
• Ensuring timely and accurate month-end closing of accounts.
• Managing critical financial KPIs.
• Being the key contact for financial systems and leading related projects.
• Producing statutory accounts and overseeing the external audit process.
• Ensuring tax compliance and managing related queries.
• Partnering with various stakeholders on financial matters.

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong background in audit and IFRS/UKGAAP. They should have excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong Excel and SAP skills are preferable.
