Financial Controller

Interim Financial Controller / £60-£70k / Liverpool City Centre / 6 months / Possible Perm / Hybrid Working

Accountable Recruitment are working with a well established organisation based in Liverpool City Centre for an Interim Financial Controller to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis

Reporting into the Head of Finance you will have overall responsibility for ensuring the management accounts are produced in an accurate and timely manner whilst overseeing budget setting and rolling forecasts.

Key day to day duties will include:

- Overseeing business partnering activities and providing the SLT with management information
- Providing detailed commentaries for each entity to the board
- Lead on the preparation of budgets
- Responsible for 3 and 5 year forecasts
- Management of cash flow for overall business
- Provide commercial analysis to drive performance, reduce costs and grow profit.
- Ensuring all internal financial controls are fit for purpose
- Liaising with operations to maximise performance and reduce costs
- Liaise with auditors and deal with any queries
- Assist with new system implementation

The successful candidate will:
- be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- have previous experience of managing large teams
- have strong commercial and financial control experience
