This is a business you can be proud to work for.  They have a envious reputation within their industry and are seen as market leaders in many aspects of what they do, especially innovation and culture.  They operate within a market which has lots of growth opportunity, and the business continues to invest to maximise what they deliver for their customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversea financial reporting, analyse, and report on variance, trends, risk, and opportunities making recommendations for improved performance.
  • Continually review systems and processes making recommendations for improvements.
  • Manage cashflow, AP, AR, and transactional finance functions to ensure accurate records are kept and outstanding service is delivered.
  • Manage audit and compliance processes.
  • Produce various reports to support decision making and investment including review of acquisitions.
  • Treasury management.

This is a broad controller role with a focus on supporting commercial activities, continuous improvement, and ensuring the business is compliant and operates effectively.  We are looking for a qualified accountant with experience gained in a similar head of finance / controller role where you can evidence strong change management and the delivery of continuous improvement projects.    You will be technically strong, commercially astute, and system savvy.  You will be a passionate people manager dedicated to training and developing high performing teams.

The company is located South of Peterborough and can offer some home working and flexibility.
