DK Recruitment are partnering with a fantastic, Plymouth based client in their search for an Interim Financial Controller. This is a pivotal role within the finance function and the wider business whilst a permanent postholder is sourced. 

About The Role 
  • Ensure compliance with statutory financial requirements, deliver exceptional service to the parent company and its subsidiaries, and continuously enhance financial processes.
  • Manage the financial integrity of corporate structures and maintain robust financial controls.
  • Prepare annual Financial Statements for main business and its subsidiaries.
  • Work with the Treasury Team to manage operational cash within the approved financial framework.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Finance Team, ensuring continuous improvement and value for money.
About You 
  • Demonstrates a strong background in financial accounting, statutory compliance, and treasury management, with experience in managing large-scale financial operations and leading financial audits. ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and financial controls, ensuring all statutory and regulatory deadlines are met accurately and efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with various stakeholders, providing clear and relevant financial information, and contributing to organisational goals.
  • Possesses excellent leadership skills with a track record of motivating and developing finance teams, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
