We are looking for a financial controller to support the Managing Director of a prestigious manufacturing business.

This exciting role includes the production and review of the monthly management accounts alongside providing exposure to all senior levels of the business as well as the rest of the Senior Management Team. The role is open to a management accountant seeking a step up to financial controller level or an accountant with finance manager or financial controller experience.

The Financial Controller will report to the Finance Director and will be key in ensuring the timely and accurate production of monthly accounts. You will be analysing variances, reporting on KPI's, diving into the detail and directly influencing the companies decision making.

The Financial Controller will have the line management and support of a Financial Accountant, Purchase Ledger Clerk and Credit Controller.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Production of management accounts, budgets and KPI's
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Stock and variance analysis
  • Key point of contact for the annual audit and all HMRC compliance
  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
  • Cash forecasting
  • Work with the FD on business planning
  • Overseeing the finance team


Manufacturing and ERP system experience is sought after for this role.
