Financial Controller

• Annual Salary: £45k - £50k plus car allowance
• Location: West of Birmingham

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller or Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic team within the security sector. This role involves working closely with the Group CFO and Managing Director, contributing to the strategic financial planning and analysis for the business. 

• Collaborate closely with the MD to develop financial models and perform in-depth analysis.
• Engage in strategic financial planning alongside the MD to drive the businesses financial goals.
• Take charge of the businesses quarterly forecasting and budgeting processes,
• Manage the preparation and detailed analysis of the businesses monthly financial reports, providing insights and identifying trends.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring the integrity of financial statements, and take full responsibility for the profit and loss (P&L) as well as the balance sheet.
• Integrate and uphold the Group’s financial procedures and controls within the business, promoting consistency and compliance across the organisation.

• ACA/CIMA Qualified Accountant preferred, will consider QBE
• Advanced IT skills, especially in Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to show initiative in difficult situations and solve problems.
• A strong communicator with an ability to influence at all levels, including at Board level.
