Financial Controller | Remote/Hybrid | £65k - £80k

Some roles let you tick boxes. This one lets you build something that lasts.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a finance function in a fast-growing, purpose-driven business. If you're a qualified accountant with a sharp commercial mind, a knack for building financial systems from scratch, and the ambition to drive change in a high-growth environment, this role is for you.

You'll be at the heart of a business acquiring and integrating independent financial advice firms, ensuring they retain their identity while benefiting from scale. You'll take control of financial reporting, compliance, and strategy-working closely with senior leadership to shape the future of the company.

This is hands-on. It's not about maintaining the status quo. You'll be developing financial controls, managing M&A integration, and putting the financial infrastructure in place for long-term success. You'll be joining a small, high-calibre team where everyone rolls up their sleeves.

You'll need to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least two years' experience as a Financial Controller. Experience in group consolidations, budgeting, and financial reporting is essential. M&A exposure is a plus, but the real key is adaptability, commercial acumen, and a problem-solving mindset.

In return, you'll have the chance to build a finance function your way, with the potential to step up to Finance Director as the business scales. There's flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid setup-what matters is output, not hours.
