About the RoleWe are looking for a Financial Crime Team Leader to lead a team of 7 in preventing, detecting, and mitigating financial crimes. If you are a motivated and experienced leader dedicated to ensuring the integrity and security of financial operations, this role is for you.
Responsibilities- Provide inspiring leadership and guidance to the financial crime team.
- Develop and execute strategies to combat financial crimes.
- Stay ahead of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen controls and processes.
- Conduct regular assessments and investigations to identify potential risks.
- Prepare and deliver insightful reports on financial crime trends and risk assessment findings.
- Proven expertise in financial crime prevention.
- A strong understanding of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial crime detection tools and systems.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must live within commutable distance of Liverpool city centre.
- Basic salary up to £35,000 DOE
- Annual bonus scheme
- Hybrid working - 2 days WFH / 3 days office
