Financial Crime Team Leader

We are looking for a Financial Crime Team Leader to lead a team of 7 in preventing, detecting, and mitigating financial crimes. If you are a motivated and experienced leader dedicated to ensuring the integrity and security of financial operations, this role is for you.

• Provide inspiring leadership and guidance to the financial crime team.
• Develop and execute strategies to combat financial crimes.
• Stay ahead of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen controls and processes.
• Conduct regular assessments and investigations to identify potential risks.
• Prepare and deliver insightful reports on financial crime trends and risk assessment findings.

• Proven expertise in financial crime prevention.
• A strong understanding of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in financial crime detection tools and systems.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must live within commutable distance of Liverpool city centre.

• Basic salary up to £35,000 DOE
