Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a high-growth retailer based in Manchester who are seeking to appoint an experienced Financial Modeller on an initial 3-month contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong SQL and Power BI experience to revamp the company's financial reporting models and provide valuable insights to drive business performance.

Salary/Benefits:

  • Competitive daily rate (Outside IR35)

  • 3-month contract

  • Based in West Manchester

Job Duties:

  • Revamp and enhance existing financial reporting models to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  • Utilize SQL and Power BI to extract, analyze, and visualize financial data.

  • Develop automated reporting solutions to support strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure financial models align with business objectives.

  • Provide insights into financial performance and assist in forecasting and budgeting processes.

  • Identify and implement process improvements within financial reporting frameworks.

Who will I report in to?

  • Finance Director

When will interviews be taking place?

  • Interviews will be happening as soon as possible.

Ideal experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).

  • Strong SQL and Power BI skills, with experience in financial modelling.

  • Proven experience in improving and automating financial reporting processes.

  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
