Financial Performance Analyst

Position: Financial Performance Analyst / Management Accountant
Contract running up to April 2025, and will be paid on day rate - Inside IR35 (DOE)
Location: Coventry - Hybrid Working
Start Date: ASAP

Our client is looking for someone to join their existing team to support a number of Green Recovery programs, covering an interesting mix of operational activity and larger capital schemes requiring an enquiring mind, great business partnering and ability to deliver a range of key, sometimes complex monthly processes accurately.

Key accountabilities:

• Ensure materially accurate accounts based on programs activity

• Provide monthly financial reporting, both Opex and Capex, highlighting drivers of performance.

• Forecasting and budgetary control including managing financial risks and opportunities.

• Provide clear financial data to non-financial professionals.

• Governance and controls adherence across program.

• Supporting operational and capital program’s finance models

Keys skills:

• Business partnering experience

• Strong analytical skills

• Self-starter with the ability to set goals, plan and implement activities resolving issues and overcoming obstacles as they arise.

• Utilising financials models to forecast spend including financial risk

• Sharing financial data to non-finance professionals in a clear & concise manner

• Ability to improve processes & systems

• Strong MS office, SAP ECC

• Fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
