Harmonic are delighted to be working with one of the UK's most exciting and fast growth UK music businesses in the search for their next Financial Planning Analyst to join their increasingly scaling team.

The Role:


The Financial Planning Analyst sits within the team responsible for budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for the record label side of the business specifically. Reporting into a fantastic, culture driven finance director and sitting in a team including a management accountant (who was recently promoted from Accounts Assistant) and a finance assistant, there will also be business partnering exposure to various non finance related departments.


Duties:

  • Month end preparation including variance analysis and audit compliance preparation
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of label roster project P&Ls
  • Assist Finance Director with forecasting and budgeting
  • Budget reviews for each labels A&R budgets and provision of analysis around this
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Oversee deal appraisals for artists
  • Business partner with labels / A&R / marketing teams
  • Ad hoc tasks to support wider business and finance function

What we need to see (essential):

  • CIMA / ACCA Studier
  • Ambitious with a high growth mindset


What we need to see (beneficial):

  • Creative industry experience (Music, Entertainment, TV&Film etc)


Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 + study support + fantastic industry perks
