Financial Planning Analyst

Commercial Finance FP&A Team sits under the Finance ops supporting the Commercial Finance Team and wider Sales/Controlling teams across many day-to-day operations including commercial planning, planning, and forecasting. Working across the CFM team and Sales to ensure our quarterly commercial planning process runs efficiently and effectively! In addition, support completing/uploading monthly forecast ensuring the simulated data is accurately reflected in the system.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Quarterly Commercial Planning
• Responsible for updating and maintaining the commercial plan templates for all products.
• Responsible for consolidating the commercial plans so the consolidated plan, including revenue and weekly sell-out, can be presented to the business with short lead time.
• Support Sales team when they have issues/queries with the plan templates.
• Assist FP&A manager to upgrade the planning templates to reflect various requirements from Sales and other relevant teams.
Financial Forecasting/Targeting/Planning
• Conduct the upload process for forecasting the simulated forecast/target data within a very tight schedule. This will require paid overtime once a month.
• Responsible for updating and maintaining the forecast templates for all products.
• Support Yearly Management Planning process including prep work and upload.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial Finance team to support them with forecasting and planning.
Financial Management & Control
• Support FP&A manager to manage monthly reporting including financial performance and ad hoc reporting within deadlines.
• Support to produce and consolidate data from finance/operation systems.
• Be one of the team super users for NERP / systems.
Ad-hoc Support
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis to deliver insights including financial/operational results within deadlines.
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and v look ups) is required.
• Experience of using ERP systems (preferably SAP) is required.
• Ability to learn and absorb new knowledge/skills quickly.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, take quick and effective decisions.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to focus on detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and work with others.
• Ability to solve problems under pressure by navigating yourself to the most suitable solution.

The interview process
There will be a two-stage interview process.
First round will be via Teams with the hiring manager and the second round will be with the HOD.
The first round will include an Excel test.
