We are partnering with a PE backed business in Southampton in the recruitment of a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join their team in a highly commercial role.
Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will manage a team and be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely analysis, driving strategic and tactical decision making, businesses case review and corporate initiatives.
The role responsibilities will include:
Ownership of the Budget and forecast process for the Group.
Financial Modelling, develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Lead and support transformation project aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and driving business growth, principally migration of existing ERP to Cloud. Including involvement with process design, reporting outputs, and testing.
Transition to Power BI to create interactive and visually compelling dashboards and reports that communicate key insights and support data-driven decision-making.
Performance, analyse and evaluate branch performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimise branch operations and achieve business objectives.
Lead, own and co-ordinate the production of the monthly management reporting for the Group, including Board pack and investor reporting.
Weekly cash flow forecast and commentary.
Performance Analytics, design and implement performance analytics to monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) across the organization.
About you:
- We’re seeking an ambitious candidate who is technically strong, having qualified in practice ACA or ACCA, and has since moved into a commercial finance role.
- You’ll be seeking your next career move with 5-10 years’ post qualification work experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven record of success.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential (Pivot Tables, Index/Match, SumIfs, XlookUps, Charts, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation) as are business partnering skills – candidates will be able to engage, consult and advise multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in a in a results-orientated, growth and performance driven environment is key, as is the ability to produce high quality, timely deliverables in a complex and changing environment.
