Financial Reporting Manager

A leading automotive company in South West London are currently hiring into their high-performing finance team. This is an opportunity for a Financial Reporting Manager to join a fast-growth business and a dynamic and entrepreneurial set-up.
Your new role
This role is predominately focused on managing the accounting team as well as the day-to-day running of the finance department. Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Improving processes and controls across operational finance and financial reporting
- Taking ownership of group reporting
- Variance analysis and presenting monthly results to senior management
- Fixed asset management
- Lead on completing annual statutory accounts and filing corporation tax returns
- Working closely with external auditors
- Systems development and improvement

What you'll need to succeed
This role will be suited to a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA). The role will be leading a team, and you will require experience of managing a transactional finance team. You will also be knowledgeable in accounting principles and preparing financial statements and possess a good understanding of financial controls. This role will suit an individual who is confident using large ERP systems, specifically SAP. You will also be a good communicator and prefer working in the office on a regular basis. Experience of the automotive, retail or manufacturing sectors will be desirable but not essential.
