The Role
We are delighted to be working with a fantastic organisation in Carlisle who are looking to hire a Financial Reporting Officer to join their busy Finance function. This is a permanent opportunity for a driven individual, within a growing organisation with excellent benefits attached.  
Duties will include:
  • Supporting with the provision of financial information and reporting to various departments.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and the input of budgetary information within accounting system
  • Assisting with monthly and quarterly Management Accounts preparation 
  • Providing financial reports to business partners when required
  • Assistant with the preparation of Financial Statements
  • Preparing VAT returns 


About You
We encourage your application to this role should you meet the following requirements:
  • AAT (or equivalent) Qualified or currently studying 
  • Experience of delivering/providing reports or financial information relating to budgets or financial statements
  • Experience assisting with management accounts preparation 
  • Accounting software skills 
  • Excel skills - competent (V-Lookups/Pivot Tables)

Other Details
  • Annual Salary - £28,000-£32,000
  • Annual Holidays - 25 days plus bank holidays (starting)
  • Hours of Work - Mon-Fri - 36.5 hours
  • Hybrid Working Policy
  • Pension - Defined Contribution Scheme
