Do you have experience in fine art shipping or managing logistics & transportation within museums or galleries? Have you worked with luxury clientele, providing fantastic customer service to these VIP clients?
I am looking for a Customer Care Coordinator with expertise in the fine art industry, to join a global logistics company who specialises in providing shipping services for the likes of galleries, interior designers and auction houses to name a few! Working as part of the Customer Care team, the successful candidate will be the key point of contact, handling claims for high-end customers and keeping them updated on shipments. This is a HYBRID position*, working Monday-Friday, from 9am-5pm.
Main duties:
- Manage incoming quotes and requests from high-end clients
- Decision making & handling client claims
- Follow the customers shipments and proactively update them on latest evolutions
- Developing relationships with VIP clients within the art sector including galleries, auction houses, artists and interior designers
- Communicate effectively with internal teams (customer service, warehouse, etc) to fix thousands of different issues together
- Suggest improvements in operational processes
- Work with the tech team on current and future platforms and products
Key requirements:
- Fine art shipping experience, OR experience in logistics/customs/shipping within a museum or gallery (essential)
- Customer service/customer care experience within the freight/shipping sector
- Ability to calculate shipping quotes, reimbursements, trouble shoot and problem solve
- Confident decision maker as will be handling claims that could impact the company’s revenue
- Client account management experience (desired)
- Advanced MS Excel user - must be comfortable working with numbers and creating spreadsheets
- Ability to multi-task with strong daily planning and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal English
Benefits & package:
- Basic salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum
- Hybrid - Up to 2 days from home during probation & up to 3 days from home after probation
