Seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong development background for a 6-9 month contract (Inside IR35) in the fintech/banking sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead AWS infrastructure migration using Kubernetes, ECS, and "lift and shift" strategies
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Optimize and maintain cloud-native applications in a fintech environment

Required Skills
  • Extensive experience with AWS services, particularly ECS, EKS, and related technologies
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration
  • Strong background in software development
  • Expertise in Terraform and infrastructure as code practices
  • In-depth understanding of fintech/banking sector requirements and regulations
  • Hands-on experience with PCI-DSS compliance in cloud environments
  • Implemented secure, scalable payment processing systems using AWS services
  • Designed high-availability architectures for real-time trading platforms
  • Optimized performance for high-frequency transaction processing systems
  • Familiar with regulatory requirements specific to financial services (e.g., GDPR, MiFID II)

  • Duration: 6-9 months

  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Day Rate: £450-£550 per day
