Our client works in partnership with the NHS and specialises in Fire and Security. They are a family run company with core values for customer excellence. Following a period of organic growth over the past 20 years they continue to require additional resource to expand the team and deliver to our customers.
Are you an experienced Fire Alarm engineer in the industry interested in working for an employer who will value you as an employee? If so, with a competitive pay package, benefits, training and development we're seeking a Fire Alarm Engineer to cover predominantly the Merseyside region.
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain fire alarm systems in accordance with British Standards and regulations.
- Installation of conventional and addressable Fire Alarm Systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues or malfunctions with hardware and equipment.
- Provide training to building occupants on alarm procedures and equipment usage.
Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with hand tools and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
- GENT trained would be highly advantageous but not essential
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and customers/clients.
- Applicants must be able to complete full security screening and vetting.
