Fire Engineer

The Fire Engineer Role
As a Fire Engineer, you will play a key role in the production of fire strategies for various building types across multiple sectors. Key responsibilities include:
- Producing comprehensive fire strategies for diverse building types
- Developing fire statements in accordance with London Plan Policy and Gateway One
- Negotiating with approval authorities on fire safety designs and proposals
- Conducting peer reviews of fire engineering calculations, including smoke modelling and evacuation analysis
- Fully understanding and applying UK fire safety legislation
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the Fire Engineering field
- Broad experience across various projects
- Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers
- BEng or CEng in Fire Engineering, or relevant experience
- Proven experience in a client-engaging environment
- Familiarity with EWS-1 and PAS 9980 standards
