We are actively looking for a Fire Risk Assessor to join a housing association in the Liverpool area on a permanent basis. You will be joining the Fire Safety Team to provide support on completing the Fire Risk Assessments in their residential properties. In return you will receive flexible working hours, hybrid working, 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays and pension scheme.

As the Fire Risk Assessor you will be:
  • Carrying out a type 1 and 3 fire risk assessment programme in domestic housing, care and support schemes and other properties where housing has responsibility
  • Evaluate existing fire risk assessments.
  • Carrying out surveys and following any major works carried out on properties.
  • Identify hazards and risks associated with fire in general and specialist buildings and processes
  • Report fire risk issues including any directly related to awareness of reporting arrangements for residents and occupants

Qualifications / Experience:
  • Experience of working as a Fire Risk Assessor within residential housing and care schemes including the application of PAS 79.
  • NEBOSH Fire Certificate
  • Level 3 in fire risk assessments
  • Completed a minimum of 20+ Fire Risk Assessments within the last12 months
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience of undertaking fire risk assessments

As the Fire Risk Assessor you will receive:
  • £47,600
  • 35 working hours a week, Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid working
  • 28 Days holidays plus bank holidays.
