Fire Safety Site Inspector – London - £65,000

I am currently representing a well-established fire safety engineering specialist company, who are experiencing significant growth across their client portfolio of commercial projects throughout the London area. As a result, they are seeking an experienced fire safety professional who is looking for an opportunity to join a thriving, growing team.

The company pride themselves on a supportive and enjoyable office environment, offering hybrid working and opportunities to progress. The successful candidate will have complete autonomy to plan their own days, varying between working from home, in the office, and carrying out site visits.

Package:
  • £50,000 - £65,000
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank
  • Company mobile phone
  • Flexible hours
  • Hybrid working
  • Company oyster card
  • Company pension scheme
  • Company will cover expenses of 1x professional membership per engineer
  • Candidate will have autonomy over their days, planning own jobs/arranging site visits etc.


Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with directors, clients and design teams
  • Carrying out fire risk assessments
  • Applying principals of safety and building regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with governing bodies’ codes
  • Managing projects from start to finish


Requirements:
  • Any industry qualifications although no specific requirements
  • At least 3 years’ experience in fire safety engineering/consultancy
  • Ideally some experience in overseeing jobs from concept to completion
