Job Title: Fire Door Joiner

Job Description:

As a Fire Door Joiner, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire doors and related components. You will ensure that all work complies with current fire safety regulations and standards, contributing to the overall safety and security of our clients' premises.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install and fit fire doors in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and fire safety regulations.

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of fire doors to ensure functionality and compliance.

- Repair and replace fire doors and components as necessary.

- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Provide detailed reports on completed work and any issues identified.

- Collaborate with other team members and clients to deliver excellent service.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a joiner, specifically with fire doors.

- Comprehensive knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards.

- Excellent carpentry skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

- NVQ Level 2 or higher in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent.

- FIRAS certification or equivalent fire door installation accreditation.

- Valid CSCS
