Fire Surveyor required to join an established multidisciplinary to support on nationwide projects with Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Developers and Colleges.

The Fire Surveyor Role

The Successful Fire Surveyor will work remotely when not on site, aside from visiting the office once a month.

The projects are mostly residential, with some education projects.

The Fire Surveyor will be required to conduct and have very strong working knowledge of:

  • Complex risk assessments
  • Retrospective Fire Strategies
  • Building Safety Casework
  • PAS 9980 Assessments
  • Fire Risk Appraisals
  • External Wall Fire Risk Appraisals
  • Fire Door Inspections
  • Strategy reports (retrospective and pre-construction)
  • Approved Document B and latest regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Institute of Fire Prevention Officer (IFPO)
  • Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM)
  • Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE)
