Facilities by ADF plc provides serviced vehicle hire for television and film productions in the UK and Europe, specialising in on-location support for dramas and major features. The company has big development plans due to the continued growth of the Film and TV industry and the company acquisition.

Fleet Manager – The role:

Facilities by ADF plc provides serviced vehicle hire for television and film productions in the UK and Europe, specialising in on-location support for dramas and major features. The company has big development plans due to the continued growth of the Film and TV industry and the company acquisition.

Fleet Manager – Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting the National Fleet Manager with day-to-day driver management

- Develop and train the Driving team to meet operational requirements

- Ensure road safety and compliance across all sites via regular audits and weekly verification of driver’s hours regulations

- Maintain accurate, GDPR-compliant filing of paperwork

- Conduct at least 3 Base audits per week – at least 3 per week where production levels allow

- Train staff to use the R2C system and monitoring its usage, addressing any issues

- Oversee incident reporting and insurer referrals

- Lead Pre-production Base Compliance meetings and ensure accurate Monday report

- Interview and select employees, ensuring a positive induction to the company

- Maintain and develop relationships with sub-contractors, agency staff and clients

- Identify and implement site operational efficiency improvements

- Manage the Driver Training and Assessing team, encouraging timely documentation

Fleet Manager - Essential Requirements:

- Fleet/Transport Manager International CPC– you will be the one of the named CPC Managers for the site

- Knowledge of Operator Licence Regulations

- Experience of providing exceptional customer service

- Experience of Compliance Auditing Processes

- Flexible in working hours to ensure contact time with day, evening and weekend shifts and be available for ‘out of hours’ communication where the need arises

- Good analytical and numerical skills

- Desirable: Knowledge of Fleet Maintenance Systems

- Desirable: Training experience and or qualification

- Desirable: Recognised Health & safety Qualification
