The Floating Support Service Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing a comprehensive support service for up to 250 individuals in Doncaster. This includes both those living independently in the community and those residing in supported living environments.
As Manager, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality support, directly impacting the well-being and stability of vulnerable adults experiencing mental ill health. Your responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum, including:
- Supported Living Scheme Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Morley Road scheme, ensuring efficient void management, seamless collaboration with Housing organisations, optimal staff deployment, and timely move-ins and move-outs for up to 8 residents.
- Service Delivery Excellence: Maintain the highest standards of service delivery, meeting and exceeding contractual outcomes, while effectively managing complaints and HR processes.
- Mental Health Pathways Leadership: Oversee the Mental Health Pathways program, collaborating closely with NHS colleagues to facilitate timely discharges from local wards and prevent unnecessary delays in patient care.
- Housing Advocacy: Actively support individuals in finding and sustaining suitable accommodation, a crucial component in their recovery and overall well-being.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, proactive leader with a proven ability to manage diverse responsibilities and drive positive outcomes for vulnerable populations. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a passion for mental health advocacy are essential.
Mandatory Requirements:
- MH experience;
- Driver;
- Experience completing assessments;
- Ability to line manage a small number of support staff;
- Proficiency in excel and data input;
- Ability to attend commissioning meetings with senior managers;
- Understanding of caseload management and ensuring staff are working in outcome focused ways;
- Ability to attend meetings on Mental Health Wards and assess inpateints for our service.
