We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable FLT Driver to join our client’s team at their bustling and growing warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar environment and hold a valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license. This role involves maintaining safe and efficient handling of materials, general warehouse duties and adherence to health and safety protocols.

Hours: 15:00 till 00:00
Hourly Pay:  £14.56 late shift
Temporary ongoing role
Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles using the forklift truck.
  • Ensure all materials are stored safely and correctly in a timely manner
  • Assisting customers with locating and loading materials, providing excellent service and support to ensure a positive experience
  • Keep accurate records of stock movements. Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies, and safeguarding against loss/theft
  • General warehousing duties
  • Work closely with other team members to support the smooth operation of the warehouse and the wider business
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Must have a valid FLT license
  • Previous experience in FLT Driver Role
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy materials
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Have strong attention to detail-, with the ability to maintain accurate records and follow company procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
