HRGO are recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Truck driver for the Birkenhead area, to start immediately. Our client is a fast growing manufacturer and will be seeking a Counterbalance FLT driver to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

Position: Counterbalance FLT

Hours: 8am-5pm (3pm finish on Friday)

Pay: £13 per hour

Location: Birkenhead

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a counterbalance forklift truck to move materials and products within the manufacturing facility
  • Load and unload wide and heavy materials from trucks and storage areas using the forklift
  • Transport materials to and from various production areas as per work orders and production schedules
  • Inspect and maintain the forklift, ensuring it is in proper working condition
  • Conduct routine checks and maintenance on the forklift, including inspecting tires, brakes, and fluid levels
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing appropriate safety gear and following safe operating procedures

Requirements:

  • An in-date Counterbalance FLT license is required for this role, it must not be in-house
  • Previous experience in a similar role, loading and unloading wide and heavy items is essential
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
