Position: Folder Gluer Operator

Location: Welwyn Garden City

Salary: DOE

Hours: Double Day Shift, 6am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm rotating weekly

Purpose of a Folder Gluer Operator:

A position is available for an enthusiastic Gluing Machine Minder (folding/gluing machine operator) to join my clients packaging finishing department. The ideal candidate should have experience of running Folding/Gluing machines.

They are looking for someone who is keen to contribute to the growth of the business and become a proactive member of the finishing team. This role would suit an individual with a high level of motivation to continually improve quality and performance and a 'can do' attitude to solving problems.

Required Skills for a Folder Gluer Operator:

The ideal candidate will have worked in a luxury carton board packaging manufacturing site with experience in setting up and running Folder gluing machines for the following types of cartons:

• Tuck end cartons
• 4 corner glued trays
• 6 corner glued box
• Pillow packs
• Crash-lock bottom boxes
• Envelope lock bottom boxes
• Wallets
• Sleeves
• Double walled trays

The candidate will be joining at an exciting time for the company which is expanding its customer base to gain more business in food and luxury brand packaging.
