As a Lidl Food Special Administrator, you’ll be responsible for the day to day running of promotional offers and working with suppliers. From preparing and analysing sales data to managing deadlines, you’ll be co-ordinating with buyers and suppliers to deliver a real impact to each of our stores. You’ll also have the opportunity to work alongside internal departments, senior management, and external partners.

What you'll do

  • Running weekly promotional offers and working with suppliers to confirm promotions by phone and email.
  • Supporting the Food Specials team with planning, managing, and executing Limited Offer promotions.
  • Working cross functionally and communicating with several other Lidl departments including, but not limited to, Buying, Supply Chain, Marketing (Advertising and PR Communications) and Merchandising, as well as our international counterparts.
  • Sample management. Dealing with requests from suppliers, taking pictures, recording product information, and handing over to relevant departments.
  • Role includes manual handling of parcels
  • Preparing and analysing sales data and inputting data
  • Co-ordinating with suppliers, regarding advertising and artwork, ensuring items are advertised correctly
  • Conducting independent research to support future innovation
  • Solving problems and improving efficiencies
  • Managing several different deadlines simultaneously
  • Providing ad-hoc administrator support

What you'll need

  • Well-organised with the ability to multitask and work to targets and strict deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Pro-active and self-starter, approaching problems logically and calmly
  • Positive can-do attitude with eagerness to learn
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication with the confidence and composure to deal with direct exposure to internal departments, senior management, and external partners
  • The ability to adapt to a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • An engaged team player
  • German language is highly desirable, but not essential
