Cromwell Community College is looking for a dedicated and passionate Food Technology Teacher to join our secondary school team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in the field of food technology within a thriving technology department.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and high-quality Food Technology lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Foster a love for culinary arts and practical skills related to food preparation.
- Contribute to the development of the technology curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure student progress and achievement.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching strategies and materials.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is desirable.
- Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary level is advantageous.
- A strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment methods for Food Technology.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
