Stores Operative / FLT Driver
  • Annual Salary: £12.00 per hour
  • Location: Wolverhampton
  • Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Stores Operative / FLT Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to the loading and unloading of goods, materials management, and maintaining an organised workspace.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, to move materials efficiently within the warehouse.
  • Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of shipments against documentation.
  • Conduct regular checks on stock levels and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Valid Counterbalance / Reach Licence.
  • Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety protocols is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.00.
  • Excellent working hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, and an early finish on Friday 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
