Forklift Counterbalance Driver

Forklift Counterbalance Driver required for a reputable company in Burton. This particular company have been operating for over 130 years and are the UK's largest stockholder of steel sections delivering products nationwide. This is a temp to perm position for the right candidate.


Key Responsibilites 

  • Working with a team of loadershandling steel and timber pallets with the use of a FLT 
  • Loading steel and timber pallets on to racking with the use of a FLT 
  • Working with a team of loaders to remove steel and timber pallets from the rack and putting on to artic lorries with the use of a FLT
  • Housekeeping duties
  • Adhoc duties to meet business needs
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations in the workplace
  • Safely operating the FLT 


Requirements for the role

  • Valid and in-date FLT counterbalance licence
  • Ideally minimum 6 months experience in a similar environment
  • Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate good attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with health and safety procedures in a warehouse environment


Hours of work

  • Monday to Friday 
  • 7am to 4:30pm
