Job Description

Our Client based on the outskirts of Ashford  is looking for an experienced  Forklift Driver with a Reach and Counterbalance licence (must be in date) to join them for 6 months contract.

For right candidate full time contract will be offered after 6  months depends on availability.

Suitable candidates will work win a warehouse / cold store area driving fully closed off and heated forklift  

Please due to location you must have your own transport as nearest train station in 45 min walking distance

Working hours

Monday to Friday 10pm – 6am

Pay rate

£15.00 p/h

Start date

Immediate

General duties:

  • To operate Reach / counterbalance fork lift trucks – (both licences must be in date )
  • The movement of goods
  • Loading and unloading
  • General warehouse duties

Requirements

  • experience in manual handling required
  • Able to work safely within a factory /warehouse environment
  • Good attention to detail
  • Numerate and literate
  • Excellent attitude towards work and colleagues
  • Reliable and conscientious
