Counterbalance Driver
  • Hourly Rate: £12 - £13 per hour 
  • Location: Crawley 
  • Job Type: Temporary

We are currently seeking a skilled Counterbalance Driver to join a warehouse team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating counterbalance forklifts to manage goods within the warehouse, ensuring efficient handling and storage of products.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Operate counterbalance forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient handling of all goods and materials.
  • Load and unload materials from a variety of vehicles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform daily equipment checks
  • Assist in physical inventories and maintain stock in an organised manner.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that production lines are supplied with empty and full pallets as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the warehouse area.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Valid counterbalance forklift driving licence.
  • Proven experience in a similar warehouse role.
  • Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in executing tasks.
  • Capable of handling heavy products and working in a fast-paced environment.
