Forklift Driver

Location: Rochester, Kent 

Salary: £25,600 per annum

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, Permanent Nights

Are you an experienced Forklift Driver with a Counterbalance Licence? We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team for the permanent night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking & Packaging: Pick and package pallets for the lines.
• Loading/Unloading: Load and unload products from packing lines.
• Stock Handling: Wrap and label stock on pallets.
• Material Transfer: Tip rice from tonne bags or other bins to machines or vice versa.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Keep your working area tidy and help your team maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Stock Transfer: Move stocks from production to the warehouse or other locations.
• Team Support: Cover for other team members and assist other departments when required.
• Lorry Operations: Load or unload lorries as needed.
• Warehouse Racking: Use a reach truck to put or take stocks from warehouse racking when necessary.
• Ad-Hoc Tasks: Complete additional tasks as required to support warehouse operations.

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Licence.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately during night shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
