Responsibilities of the mobile forklift engineer include:

  • Travel the South West attending on-site breakdowns. 
  • Helping customers with queries on site, liaising with the hire desk where required
  • Representing the company in a professional and knowledgeable way
  • Service, maintenance and repair of material handling equipment including electric counterbalance forklifts, diesel forklifts, articulated forklifts, reach trucks, and side loaders and manufacturers such as Toyota, Komatsu, Combilift, Caterpillar (CAT), Hyster-Yale + many more!

To be successful as the mobile forklift engineer you may have worked in positions such as engineer, mechanic, plant fitter, mobile plant fitter, workshop plant fitter, service fitter, service engineer, forklift engineer, mobile forklift engineer, forklift service engineer, material handling engineer or service technician.

To be successful as the forklift engineer you may have been involved with service and repairing within the forklift industry, experienced in electrical / hydraulic systems.
