ARNL have an exciting opportunity for Cargo Forklift Operative!! If you have a counterbalance Forklift license with cargo warehouse experience, we would like to hear from you! We are recruiting for a leading cargo specialist company based in all terminals of Heathrow Airport. Fulltime positions with overtime available. Entry level Cargo experience is desirable.
As a Cargo Forklift Operative you will receive: • Pay of £13.00 p/h for day shifts and £14.00 p/h night shifts for the first 12 weeks. £16.12 p/h after 12 weeks completion • Free parking in ULEZ free zone. • Free Cargo Operative Training. • Overtime rates of £29.56 p/h after successful probation completion
To be successful for this Cargo Forklift Operative position: • A valid counterbalance forklift licence is required. • Minimum 6 month experience using counterbalance forklift. • Ability to load and unload parcels between 15kg to 25kg. • Be prepared to work in a manual environment. • Provide 5 year referenceable history.
Cargo Forklift Operative duties will include: • Using forklift to load and unload air freight cargo pallets to and from vehicles. • Build and break down aircraft pallets and store in warehouse racks. • Build cargo onto aircraft units to airline specifications. • Scanning cargo and completion of airfreight documentation. • Performing other warehouse duties when required.
As a Cargo Forklift Operative you will work 4 on 2 off shift pattern: • Day shift – 08:00 hrs to 16:30 hrs • Mid-day shift – 16:00 hrs – 00:30 hrs • Night shift – 20:00 hrs – 04:30 hrs
