Hales Group are urgently seeking a Forklift Operative to join for our client based close to Fakenham.

This is a great opportunity for someone who likes a varied role where you can get your hands dirty and be part of a small friendly team where everyone can get stuck in to get the job done. You will contribute to the growth of the business by ensuring that the site performs at its best allowing production targets to be met.
  
The role of Forklift Operative will include;
  • Operating forklift within the mill to move stock
  • Loading lorries with palletised product
  • Flexibility to support with production tasks 
  • Using company IT systems to log stock records
  • Wider support for overall mill growth supporting with projects or ad hoc work as part of the wider team
  
To be considered for the role of Forklift Operative you will need;
  • A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
  • Experience of using your licence within a warehouse or manufacturing setting
  • Knowledge of hygiene standards within food processing
  • Support with production and maintenance as required
  • Must have own transport due to the location of the site

HOURS: Monday to Thursday 7am-5pm, Friday 7am-3pm. OR 12 hour day shifts 6am-6pm with occasional support to cover night shift.
PAY: £13.80 per hour for the first 48 hours, OT1.5 thereafter.
LOCATION: Walsingham
DURATION: 8 weeks minimum
