Forklift/ Tow tractor driver

Zenith people are working with an automotive client based in Washington recruiting for experienced Forklift and Tow tractor operators. An external licence for the Forklift is essential however only experience on the Tow tractor is required.

Duties:

• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Safely operating the Forklift.
• Transporting materials and products within the facility, moving them between different areas as needed.
• Carefully stacking and storing inventory on shelves and racks.
• Inspecting the forklift before and after use to ensure it's in good working condition.
• Following safety procedures to operate the equipment safely and avoid accidents.
• The tow tractor would be used to transport vehicles that need servicing, repairs, or to be moved to different areas of the facility.
• Basic maintenance checks.
• Following all health and safety regulations on site.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role is essential.
• Experience operating a Tow tractor is essential, however a licence is not.
• A valid external Forklift licence and experience are essential.

Shifts and pay:

• Following a 2 shift pattern. Days and backs ( 6:55am - 3pm, 4:45pm - 12:53am).
• The early shift is £11.44 and the backs are £12.81.
