Remedy Recruitment Group are currently on the lookout for a Fostering Social Worker based in North London.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic social worker in our Family, Friends and Fostering Team. You will work with a variety of clients including foster carers, kinship carers, prospective family and friends carers and special guardians. You will have responsibility for the supervision, support and review of foster carers and kinship foster carers offering placements to Looked After Children. You will undertake viability, special guardianship and Regulation 24 assessments for family and friends who are seeking to care for children in their networks. You will also provide post-order support to Special Guardians including reviewing of Special Guardianship Support Plans and Adoption & Special Guardianship Support Fund Assessments. You will also be required to participate in the Family, Friends and Fostering Team's duty rota over a number of days each month. In addition to this you will have the opportunity to participate in various other team activities such as delivering support groups or training to carers.

You will need to be:

  • SWE registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
