m2r Education are working with this leading UK school brand who are opening a new international campus in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in August 2026.

The school will cater for students from EYFS to Yr12, with an opening of up to Yr8. Curriculum will be English national curriculum to KS3 and then Pearson / Edexcel for KS4 and KS5.

They require a competent and confident Founding Head who can join and be in Riyadh by January 2026. You MUST have a background in leading a school, either as a Principal or as a Deputy, with aspiration plus the skills to assume a founding role. Middle East experience, although preferred, is not essential.

Role

  • As Founding Principal you will be expected to meet prospective parents and students.
  • Teacher recruitment.
  • Involvement in marketing.
  • Involvement in classroom set up etc

Experience / Qualifications

  • 5yrs minimum as a school leader / deputy, either within a primary or within a whole school setting, in a UK school
  • Bachelor Degree + QTS. Leadership qualifications would be advantageous too.
  • Middle East school leadership experience preferred, although not essential.

Package

  • UP TO 40000SAR (£8000 per month, tax free), dependent upon experience.
