FP&A Accountant

We are currently in search of a skilled FP&A Accountant to undertake a 12-month fixed-term contract with our finance team. The role is suited to individuals who operate their own company and can invoice for services, as this contract falls outside of IR35.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth financial analysis to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions.
• Generate financial reports and provide insights to guide business decisions.
• Oversee the budgeting process, conduct variance analysis, and support strategic financial planning.
• Collaborate with senior management on financial strategy and planning.
• Analyse trends in key performance indicators, including revenue, costs, expenses, and capital expenditures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Demonstrable experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Proficient in financial reporting software and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Independent worker with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
• Preference for candidates who can invoice through their own company.
