FP&A Analyst

FP&A Analyst (12-month FTC), Cardiff, Wales | £30,000 - 32,000.

On behalf of a nationwide public-sector organisation, we are recruiting an FP&A Analyst in Cardiff, Wales. The FP&A Analyst will support planning, forecasting and performance monitoring for a number of overseas entities as well as providing assurance to managers on financial management reporting and business performance. The FP&A Analyst will interpret long and short-term financial plans and KPIs and will interpret financial trends, financial analysis, and impacts. This is a 12-month FTC covering maternity and is hybrid working.

Main Duties:

• Planning, forecasting, and budgeting - supporting business managers using planning and forecasting processes and tools
• Support the Lead FP&A Manager with developing investment cases, modelling, and scenario planning
• Financial Analysis - analyse trends, and KPIs across regions and perform analysis scenario planning and modelling
• Management reporting - manage the management accounting and commentary processes for various regions, liaising with budget leads on variance commentary and monthly dashboard production

Person Specification:

• Part-or fully qualified CCAB accountant
• Strong financial management and management accounting experience
• Experience working in a complex international structure
• Experience of working in a multinational and multi-cultural organisation
• Ideally experience from a commercial sector with SAP systems skills
