My client is a world leading tech based business and they are looking for an experienced and ambitious FP&A Analyst to join their Leeds based business on a permanent basis.

The role:
  • Responsible for collating Group forecasting, scenario planning and budgeting.
  • Responsible for maintenance & development of complex 5yr plan financial models to support strategic initiatives.
  • Responsible for delivering central cost centre forecasting, scenario planning & budgeting.
  • Responsible for insightful and action-orientated analysis of the central cost centre performance.
  • Design & build of new reporting suite and subsequent roll-out across the group.
  • Requiring both commercial and analytical skills, the position offers the right candidate the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the performance of the business. The Analyst working with the Group Head of FP&A will also review current practices and will have the opportunity to make and implement recommendations for improvement across the Group.
  • This role is a company-wide reaching role that will work across the organisation to help build engagement with the analytical platform and ensure efficient generation of valuable insight.
  • Pro-actively using data to identify issues, trends and opportunities then visualise these for key stakeholders and drive for action to address.

About you:
  • Excellent financial modelling capability (This is a key requirement for this role)
  • Attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills, Power BI skills desirable
  • Ability to read and understand vba coding is desirable
  • Outcome orientated with strong commercial acumen
  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills
  • Articulate with strong verbal and written communication
  • Understands how to convert data into compelling BI reporting and/or analysis.
  • Can translate complex business decision or challenges into analytical questions that can be methodically assessed using data.
  • Knowledgeable in creating and modifying SQL queries
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an FP&A role or Financial Modelling role
  • Budget preparation & forecasting
  • Business insights and analysis
  • Advanced Excel modelling
  • Minimum part-qualified ACA, ICAS, CIMA, ACCA
