Reporting into the FP&A Manager, the Finance Analyst will be responsible for looking after Group Overhead costs. You will build relationships with the SLT in order to help prepare budgets and support with the monthly rolling forecast process.

My client are a global, FTSE 250 Listed business, who are fast paced and quick to adapt to market conditions. Turning over in excess of £500 million, they have a strong Finance team which would offer career progression as well as a really strong business culture.

Description

* Drive actuals reporting and monthly rolling forecast of Head Office entities
* Provide business partnering support to key stakeholders to conduct regular bottom-up reforecast of P&L and balance sheet for head office entities as part of monthly process
* Critically analyse forecasts to identify risks and opportunities against the forecast, providing a challenge to stakeholders on areas of spend on cost base
* Specifically regarding IT, work collaboratively with Global IT leadership/budget holders/project managers to manage IT Opex & Capex budgets, partnering on CAPEX appraisal and approval process
* Month end analysis of accruals and prepayments, with preparation of relevant journals
* Support process improvement projects to ensure robust control environment in the corporate centre, and the transformation office to report on the significant projects
* Be involved and support monthly Group consolidation process of actuals/forecasts, working closely with wider FP&A team to produce group results across all performance moments
* Participate in key FP&A improvement projects, including delivery of strategic finance initiatives
* Undertake ad-hoc requests from the business

Profile

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified - this role would consider someone making their first move out of Practice
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the SLT
  • High level analysis and reporting skills
  • SAP experience would be desirable
