FP&A Business Partner

The Finance & Accountancy Division at The One Group is currently recruiting for a FP&A Finance Business Partner on the behalf of a global and established business based in Northampton. It's a fast-paced business, with various marketplaces around the globe, it's a positively evolving landscape that will give you global exposure and development opportunities.

As the FP&A Finance Business Partner, you will be reporting into the Head of FP&A and will be responsible in leading the FP&A cycle. This position is essential for steering financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making to enhance the company's growth and efficiency. Acting as a link between finance and business operations, you will be required to offer expert insights, precise forecasts, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

As the FP&A Business Partner, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Financial Analysis and Reporting
* Lead and collaborate with finance partners and senior management on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
* Analyse financial performance against key metrics and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders
* Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making
Process Improvement
* Identify and implement process improvements for financial planning and analysis, promoting a continuous improvement mindset
* Streamline reporting and analysis using advanced technology and best practices
* Improve data quality, accuracy, and accessibility
Data Management and Analysis
* Design and implement robust data structures for financial analysis
* Ensure efficient data storage and access
* Integrate data with IT and other departments
* Extract actionable insights and identify trends from complex data sets
* Enhance data management processes for quality and efficiency
Reporting and Communication
* Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and KPIs
* Assist with year-end reporting
* Ensure accurate and timely budgeting and forecasting
Business Partnering
* Provide financial support to commercial and NPD teams
* Work with teams to understand business drivers
* Report on business unit performance
* Align financial data and strategies with the finance team
Cost Management
* Identify cost optimisation opportunities
* Control expenses to meet budget constraints
* Challenge and manage cost centre overspends
Ad-Hoc Analysis and Projects
* Conduct ad-hoc analysis and modelling
* Cover product costing and maintain pricing systems
* Perform market and competitor analysis

As the FP&A Business Partner, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
* ACA, ACCA, ACMA or CIMA Qualified
* Experience of working in a fast pace busy finance function
* Strong ability to analyse complex financial data and proficient in financial modelling, forecasts and variance analysis
* Innovate approach to problem-solving and process improvement
* Confident in financial software, ERP systems and BI Tools
